Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy, Gangtok was established in the year 2001 is one of the popular constituent college committed to impart quality physiotherapy education. Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy provides a variety of courses in physiotherapy discipline. The institute provides one undergraduate programme, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), and four postgraduate programmes: Appearing with the titles of MPT in Health Promotion and Disability Rehabilitation, MPT in Orthopedics, MPT in Cardiopulmonary Sciences, and MPT in Neurological Sciences. All these courses are full time programmes, while the BPT course takes four years and the MPT courses take two years each. The BPT programme has 40 Seats approved for admission while MPT courses have the following seats for admission. Such programmes aim at preparing students not only for depth of knowledge and skills, relevant to the selected specialties.
