SIMS College of Education, Guntur was established in the year 2007 and is a co-educational institute located at Mangaladas Nagar, Vijayawada Road, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The affiliated college has been recognised by the NCTE to assure quality teaching education. The compact campus of 0.74 acres provides undisturbed surroundings for learning by the wannabe educators. The total student eneolment is 200, with a faculty strength of 15 dedicated professionals.

The library, built with international standards in mind, contains a collection of resources for all educational purposes. Well-equipped laboratories provide hands-on learning, and there is an auditorium providing space for many programmes of an academic and cultural nature. Sports facilities and a gym are provided for the physical development of students. There are also separate hostels for boys and girls, maintaining a secure and comfortable campus living environment. These hostels provide balanced and nutritional food so that the students are healthy and fit. The SIMS College of Education also has a cafeteria, a health centre with first-aid facilities, and fully-fledged IT infrastructure to help accomplish modern teaching and learning requirements.

The main concentration and aim of SIMS College of Education are on teacher education, and it offers B.Ed. with an approved intake of 100 students. This full-time course would provide the learner with all the important skills and knowledge that will make them successful teachers. In its academic curriculum, and practical teaching methodology, one finds the sincerity of the college in turning out good-quality teachers.
