Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Medical College and Lifetime Hospital is one of the latest entrants among Indian Medical Colleges being established in the year 2017. It is affiliated college situated in Padve, Kasal, in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The institute, therefore, is located on a spacious 70-acre compound where both academic and co-curricular activities can easily be carried out. Faculty of the college now boasts 69 members and the institution aims at providing quality medical education. The institution only has one programme and this is the undergraduate, the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) of which the Commission has approved the enrolment of 150 students every year. 

The college has many infrastructural facilities that enhance the everything needed in the development process of a child. MBBS curriculum is the core of Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Medical College and Lifetime Hospital. This is a full time course lasting for six years with a clear focus on medical science. The learning outcomes of the program aim at providing the learners with adequate knowledge, skills and ethical principles to enable him/her fit well in the medical field. The college grants 150 seats per year for students who want to become doctors, which means students are fortunate to get into the college. The course charges for MBBS program has been fixed at ₹37,12,500/‐ towards the cause of noble intention to produce quality Medical Professionals.
