Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's College of Engineering, Sindhudurg: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's College of Engineering, Sindhudurg, established in the year 1999, is a reputed institution for technical education. Spread over an area of approximately 29 acres in Harkul Budruk, Kankavali, Maharashtra, this affiliated college offers quality education. SSPMCOE is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, and all the courses offered are approved by AICTE. The college offers a diverse range of engineering programs. the total students enrolment is 672, and the faculty strength is 37. 

Following are a few infrastructural highlights which the college is proud of and which truly offer students a good way of learning. The library, a foundation for the pursuit of knowledge, contains 3,023 titles and 20,830 volumes that together augment students. Standing students' needs, SSPMCOE provides separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls. The boys' hostel is comprised of 34 ordinary rooms, 8 special rooms, and 4 semi-special rooms. On the other hand, the girls hostel is provided with 64 ordinary rooms equipped with mess facilities.

SSPMCOE offers a full range of courses in Engineering, all of which are full-time B.Tech courses. The institute currently offers seven B.Tech. programs that deal with various subjects related to engineering and technology. These include the programs of computer engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering; to this group, we must add those in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; Mechatronics Engineering; Computer Science; and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Here, the total approved intake for all the courses put together is 270 students per year. Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning each have 60 seats, whereas Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Computer Science have 30 seats each.  

The admission procedures at SSPM's College of Engineering are simplified and merit-based. The institute strictly follows the norms and parameters laid down by the state government of Maharashtra for engineering admissions.
