Sinhgad Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Lonavala is a premier pharmaceutical education institute of Sinhgad Technical Education Society. This affiliated college was established in the year 2004. The affiliated college has an area of 2.5 acres and is located in Lonavala, Maharashtra. Further, the institution is NAAC accredited. SIPS is approved by PCI; hence, the institution lays great emphasis on quality pharmaceutical education. The institution offers 3 courses in 3 degrees with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Sciences. With an overall enrolment of 283 students and a faculty of 16, SIPS has maintained a balanced student body of 60% males and 40% females so as to provide a balanced learning environment.

The institution has a host of modern facilities for pursuing such multi-faceted academic activities. A well-stacked library, set up in the year 2004, has over 7,358 books and 2,167 titles, along with national and international journals and e-resources. The campus has fully equipped, state-of-the-art laboratories, Wi-Fi internet connectivity in the computer lab, a fully equipped and ICT-enabled Corporate Training Centre for seminars/symposiums with an intake capacity of 150-200 persons for seminars, a health centre with first-aid facilities, a gym, sports facilities with a swimming pool, and well-maintained playgrounds. Separate accommodation is provided for boys and girls, with comfortable board facilities in the hostels for students who come from far-flung areas.

The courses in the field of pharmacy offered by SIPS range from undergraduate B.Pharma to M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. All programs are full-time with variable course durations ranging from 2 to 6 years. 

The admission procedure at SIPS is basically based on the performance in entrance examinations. The admissions to the B. Pharma course happen through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) and NEET.
