Sipajhar B.Ed. College, started in 1994, is an affiliated College in Dakshinchuburi, Sipajhar, Darrang district of Assam located. It is one of those co-educational institutions recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education or NCTE and is devoted to provide teacher education courses only. Located on a plot of 0.70943 acres of land, the college hawk a current total student population of 200 students and 17 faculty members. Sipajhar B.Ed. College offers three courses: B.Ed, D.El.Ed and BA Education that is a significant stress on professional education for the future world. 

Since the beginning, the library is an essential aspect of learning which is home to 4500 books and contains an ample reading area for the students. In course with the management of the Sipajhar B.Ed College to be aligned with updated education systems, there is an ICT room with 25 computers. This includes facility by a qualified teacher allows numerous students practice their digital skills and get acquainted with basic computer knowledge. The college also remains functional with Psychological Laboratory important for teacher training hence equipped with facilities like Memory Drums, Mirror Drawing Apparatus and Learning Apparatus among others. 

Sipajhar B.Ed. College currently offers three main courses: B.Ed, D.El.Ed, B.A Education, etcetera. Flagship course indeed, the B.Ed. programme is a full two-year programme with an approved intake strength of one hundred students. The total student capacity in all programmes being 200, keep the student-teacher ratio in check, the college asserts the importance of quality education. 

Sipajhar B.Ed. College admission policy is based on merit depending on the mark in the qualifying or entrance examination as the case maybe. For the B.Ed. programme, admission are in accordance to the rules and regulation of the state government as well as the affiliating university. Like the other few programmes, admission to the D.El.Ed. programme takes place purely on merit basis, as prescribed by the rules and regulations of the state government or UT administration.
