Sir ISSAC Newton Polytechnic College, is a technical college situated in Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu which was started in the year 2008. Spread in a large area of 5.88 Acers this affiliated college has got the approval of All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], New Delhi to provide quality education in different branches of engineering. Thus with the total student intake of 1425 and faculty of 100 the college provides a wide variety of diploma courses. These courses range from civil engineering, marine engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering; architectural engineering; electrical and electronics engineering; and mechanical engineering. Total sanctioned strength of the college at all levels of courses is 660 and out of this Mechanical engineering has the highest set of 240number of students while electrical and electronics engineering is 120. The remaining courses each intake 60 students and hence they also afford each student individual attention and quality education irrespective of the discipline.
