Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies, Taliparamba (SSITS Taliparamba) started in 2002 is among the reputed institution of technical and higher learning. Established in Kannur, Kerala, this affiliated college occupies a built-up area of 30,000 sq meters with a 6 acre campus spread across many programmes. SSITS, Taliparamba has a student strength of 1424 and faculty strength of 76 among which major emphasis is given for complete education for the students of the region. While at postgraduate level, the institute offers M.Sc programmes in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Computer Science.
