SIRDA Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mandi, is an established institute in the year of 2009 situated in Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh. This affiliated college is located on a vast piece of land which is 15 acres and provides various engineering courses to the technologists. SIRDA has 306 student intake while 78 of which are faculties and this makes it has a right environment for delivery of quality education. At present, the institute teaches four B.Tech programmes in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering that are regular four-year programmes.

SIRDA Institute of Engineering and Technology has various forms of dressing that are well outfitted and equipped with modern teaching infrastructure. It has laboratories which offer practical experience as per parameters of the contemporary markets. The academic core of the institute, this facility is computerised and offers thousands of books, course materials, general knowledge, and reference books. As a technology driven institution, SIRDA has invested on resources to support IT as Wi-Fi enabled academic blocks and high speed internet lab for effective connectivity & information search.

SIRDA Institute of Engineering and Technology has a total of four B.Tech programmes all of which are on full time basis. The students of SIRDA Institute of Engineering and Technology are mainly offered the admission through merit basis. For the undergraduate programmes, the institute considers the candidates’ score from the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency. In addition, the entrance test conducted for admission in all the Technical Institutions of Himachal Pradesh is the HPCET. These two acceptances of the national and state level entrance exams afford the intending students two ways of gaining admission into their programmes of choice.
