SIT College of Education Sidhi was set up in the year 2014/15, and situated at Jamodi Sengran, Rewa Road, Sidhi (Madhya Pradesh). This co-educational institute is affiliated college as per National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which will ensure the quality teacher education.. Presently the institution has 193 student population and 16 members of faculty which makes the learning environment personal and professional. At the moment, the college offers only one course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed course) with an option in training teachers to enable them serve in the education sector and enjoys the fruits of their labor without experiencing despair.

Currently the college has installed several facilities that help in the improvement of students’ experience while at the college as well as helping in improvement of the academic achievement. The campus consists of substantive classrooms; numerous of which include an amphitheater located so that discussion and learning primarily involves interaction. 

It is a central reference source which gives students the opportunity to get acquainted with a vast amount of knowledge. Additionally, to support the practical learning of knowledge, the college has departmental laboratory where students can practice. They also focus on other aspects of student lives for examples the institution provides a sporting complex, gym, and a health centre with an aid post. Recognizing the need to provide out of town students comfortable place to stay, SIT College of Education has granted students’ facilities such as; Boys’ Hostel and Girls’ Hostel.

SIT College of Education newly introduced program is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), a two-year full time course with an approved student capacity of one hundred students. The goal of this program is to prepare future teachers to possess the essential knowledge and practical skills as well as showcase the best practices for teaching in today schools. It can be assumed that the curriculum includes educational psychology, teaching methods, and curriculum and instruction in individual subjects, but no examples of these courses are given. The nature of the institution having only one degree program prepares teachers with specialized anchored knowledge and skills in their teaching.
