Sita Ram Singh Mahavidyalaya, Sabukpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sita Ram Singh Mahavidyalaya, Sabukpur was established in the year 2014 as an affiliated college in Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, co-educational campus stretches over 2.6 acres land with the approval of NCTE. Two full-time courses in education with an intake of 286 students are backed by a faculty of 24. It offers both the B.Ed and D.El.Ed so that aspiring educators can be served at different levels. 

The institution has a whole host of facilities to make learning enriching for the students. The knowledge hub is a well-equipped library, and departmental laboratories provide hands-on learning in skills. Sports facilities and a gym have been provided to get an all-around development in physical fitness and recreation. Also, it has an auditorium for events and seminars, which helps to provide a good academic environment. A cafeteria is attached catering to the culinary needs of students and staff, and the health center, with first-aid facilities, looks after basic medical care. Sita Ram Singh Mahavidyalaya offers the following two courses related to education: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - a two-year full-time course with an approved intake of 100 students, and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) - a two-year full-time course with an approved intake of 50 students. These courses have been designed to allow the students to teach and to cater to the demands of building a career in teaching. The total intake of students in all courses is 286, reflecting the commitment of the institute towards a healthy student-teacher ratio for quality education.

Admission to Sita Ram Singh Mahavidyalaya is based on merit, which is determined by the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. In the case of the B.Ed. program, admission is undertaken in accordance with the policy of the State Government/UT Administration and the University. The Admission Policy for the D.El.Ed. course is defined by the state government or UT administration.
