Sitaram Samarpan Mahavidyalaya, Banda was established in the year 2004. This is an affiliated college in Naraini, Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The institution has traversed a long way in disseminating qualitative education during the past two decades. This college has 17 courses in 5 degree programs spread over a 5-acre campus, with a student strength of 676. There are 17 full-time courses; amongst them, BA comes under Hindi Literature, English Literature, Sanskrit Literature, History, Political Science, and Sociology. Under the Science stream, the B.Sc. comes under Mathematics and Biology. The institution offers B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses for people seeking admission to the teaching profession. MA is conducted at the postgraduate level in Political Science, Hindi, and Education. 

Admission into the Sitalram Samarpan Mahavidyalaya depends upon courses. In most of the undergraduate courses, admission to Sitalram Samarpan Mahavidyalaya is based on merit, which depends on the marks attained in the qualifying examination. However, admission to professional courses like B.Ed. shall be made on the basis of an entrance examination or any other selection criteria prescribed by the policy of the state government and the affiliated university. However, admission in the D.El.Ed. programme shall be made strictly based on the merit basis.
