SJES Polytechnic is spread over a 5 acre campus with a total student intake capacity 165 and the faculty consists of 45. The institute offers six diploma programmes in different disciplines of Engineering for which the admission is full-time. Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: This program admits 60 students. A good understanding of physics and mathematics is required. The course readies the students for further employment in the electronics and communication industry.
Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: This is another popular program, taking 60 students. The intake may be based on students having good logical reasoning and mathematics skills.
Diploma in Civil Engineering: This is another infrastructure development program. With 60 seats, the candidates are required to have a good spatial awareness and mathematics skills.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: This course has an intake of 30 students. It combines principles of electrical engineering with electronics, requiring a strong foundation in physics and mathematics.
