SK Teachers Training College, Kota, was setup in 2008 and working in the field of education to build the future. Situated in Chandrasal, Arjunpura, Kota, Rajasthan, this affiliated college has been supporting potential teachers for more than a decade now. This college occupies a small area of 1.606 acres of land and has a small area of coverage which makes it to provide a concentrated atmosphere to the learners. In conformity with the standards set out by the NCTE, SK Teachers Training College receives its approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

SK Teachers Training College has a series of modern facilities intended to improve the learning process of students. A reference library is one that is equipped with various types of books that can be used for research purposes. The college boasts itself in well equipped laboratories and it is capable of conducting practical classes in many fields. Up-to-date IT infrastructure helps students facilitate their education by being up to date with the technological advancements. For all round development, the college offers the facilities of games and academics to allow the students to become physically fit as well as academically sound. A cafeteria, organised on the territory of the educational facility, provides an opportunity for students to rest and communicate. And in terms of health, there is a medical facility for first aid and support of the students’ health. An auditorium is used in event and seminar conducting and is a central part of campus life. SK Teachers Training College provides a narrow specialisation in the field of teacher education; in total, the college offers only three programmes for the preparation of teachers with various specialisations. The college offers full course programmes for full time students to train them for fulfilling careers in education. The college takes a total of 400 students for all courses eradicating congestion and favouring the students-teacher ratio to improve the quality of training imparted. It is managed by 14 hardworking teachers who in turn assist the learners to the achievement of their academic objectives as well as career goals.

Recruitment policy for admitting students in SK Teachers Training College is competently formulated in order to allow for equitable consideration and admission of students. For the B.Ed programme, there is strict merit criterion used where the admission directly depends on the marks scored in the qualifying examination or entrance examination.
