SKD College of Education was founded in the year 2000. The college is located at DS-1, Pocket-D, Lohia Nagar, Hapur Road in Meerut. Affiliated, Co-Education Schooling System College, SKD is based in Uttar Pradesh, India. It occupies an area of 1.483 acres, has a total strength of enroled students amounting to 163, and is facilitated by 15 faculties that have provided a constructive learning environment. The college is a co-educational institute with the provision of both boys and girls. The institute has one degree course at present in teacher education.

The working college library has a sitting capacity of 60 with more than 6,973 books that comprise 4,590 textbooks and 2,383 reference books, and 24 journals. Other amenities that have been accorded to the college are canteen with a guest house and parking facilities for the staff and the students. 

The speciality that is imparted by SKD College of Education is the bachelor of education, or B.Ed. It is a two-year full-time course for training students to take up their career in teaching and education.
