University: SMBT Institute of Dental Sciences and Research Nashik, Maharashtra State The institution is relatively young as it was established in the year 2016, however has lots to do with the future dental education. Located in Nandi hills of Dhamangaon, this affiliated college has come up as one of the best for dentistry within a short span. At present, SMBT Institute of Dental Sciences and Research offers one primary course: This can only be done by offering degree possession programs in areas such as the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). This is a fulltime programme that takes five years and having an approved intake capacity of one hundred seats. The BDS course still aims at making the students have a sound foundation within the dental sciences and does this through the use of both the theories associated with dentistry as well as the practical aspect of dentistry.
