Smt. Amrutben Jayantilal Savla Homoeopathic Medical College and Research Institute, Mehsana, Gujarat, was established in the year 1981 as a premier institution for homoeopathic studies. This affiliated college is approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy, New Delhi. The sprawling campus of 9.7 acres is totally occupied by the institution. There are a total of 512 students presently enrolled, while faculty strength stands at 57.

The campus has a number of facilities for improving the learning experience and all-round development of students. The courses provided here are at the undergraduate level: Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), at the postgraduate level, there are three MD courses in Materia Medica, Organon, and Repertory. The total intake of students for all courses is 118, wherein BHMS takes in 100 students, and each of the MD programme offer 6 seats. This imbalances the opportunities with regard to advanced specialisation in homoeopathic medicine.
