Smt. BVPP College of Education, Vadu, started the voyage in the year 2003 as a premier institution for teacher education in Gujarat. The college occupies an area of 8 acres with an intake of 210 students. There are 16 staff members altogether, out of which 14 are teaching members. The Institute has been engaged with the Bachelor of Education course so as to prepare modern teachers for the upcoming challenges in teaching.

The institution boasts of giving pentagonal learning environments, replete with facilities to help students in every sphere of their development. Smt. BVPP College of Education serves as a hub of academics with a large stock of books and educational materials, among many more. Fully equipped laboratories for different departments ensure helping in practical learning processes. The institution also believes in modern-day education, and hence the IT structure in this college is highly impressive, making sure every student is up–to-date with modern technologies in the realm of education. Sports facilities are also provided to the students in order to develop their physical fitness and sporting spirits. Also, the campus has an auditorium, which will provide an apt place for any events, seminars, and other cultural activities.

Smt. BVPP College of Education mostly concentrates on the course of B.Ed. The duration of this course is two years regular full-time. The B.Ed. course seeks to prepare aspiring teachers with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to become a successful educator.

Admission to Smt. BVPP College of Education is based on merit and marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination. The college follows the admission policies so framed from time to time by the State Government and the affiliated University.
