Smt. Gangabai Khivraj Ghodawat Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kolhapur is an affiliated college established in Jaysingpur in the year 1985. The women's institution is National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited. The campus of this institution covers an area of 5.13 acres with four different degree programs to 851 students. It has maintained a very favorable student-to-teacher ratio to offer individualized attention and encouragement with the faculty strength of 12 dedicated teachers.

Additionally, the college offers one-year postgraduate diploma in computer applications to the ones who wish to specialize in the area of information technology.
