The college, Smt. K.B. Parekh College of Computer Science, Mahuva, started in July 2000 is affiliated with the University. It is located in Mahuva in the district of Bhavnagar in the state of Gujarat. The college has specialization in computer science education. The college provides an area of 6 acres of land giving a proper environment for learning and development. This is summed up in the entire student population enrolled in this college, totaling 186 scholars, and a faculty of 11 teachers, which reasonably provides for a good ratio of students to teachers for close monitoring of the students and quality learning. There are three exclusive degree programs at the institution, with each one specializing in various aspects of computer science and information technology.

The Smt. K.B. Parekh College for Computer Science focuses on select few full-time courses that are exclusively offered in the area of computer science and information technology. Among the prime programs of study, the college extends a Bachelor of Computer Applications, followed by Master of Science in Information Technology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. The BCA program spans over three years and provides a healthy fundamental of a plethora of computer applications. The MSc IT is a two-year postgraduate program, while the PGDCA is a one-year course and oriented to provide advanced knowledge in information technology.
