Smt. Mala Devi Memorial College for women was started in the year 2014 at Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh and it developed as a single branch college. This is a relatively young institution which was approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and it offers teacher education programs. Located at a 0.38 acres entrance level of the college, the college has 80 students enrolled for the course and 6 members in faculty. This institute provides only one course in its multi-college: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El. Ed.) and its approved intake is hundred only to train teachers to impart education at the primary and upper primary stage.

These include a nicely endowed college furnished with several facilities intended to create the learning environment of students pleasant. Libraries contain current and relevant literature, textbooks, reference, and informative materials in support of the teaching-learning processes. As a reinforcement of the fact the institution is well-founded the laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, as well as mathematics are well supplied and equipped to give the students practical experience in their subject area. For recreation and physical fitness the college has provision of indoor and outdoor games: the college has a playground and a sports room provided with necessary items for games like table tennis, cricket, volley ball etc and playing cards and chess set are also available in the college.

Smt. Mala Devi Memorial College currently has only one full time course and it is a two-year course called D.El.Ed. The aim of this program is to train elementary education professionals who can independently perform their academic activities as teachers. The college has been given an intake capacity of 100 for this course as the college believes in its social responsibility of producing quality elementary educators to the educational institute.
