Smt. Maniben MP Shah Women’s College of Arts and Commerce, Matunga provides various Freeships and Scholarships to the eligible students at MMP Shah College Matunga. The college enables financially needy students to complete their Higher Education and Post Graduation by providing freeships and scholarships to them. Smt. Maniben MP Shah Women’s College of Arts and Commerce, Matunga provides two types of scholarship assistance to its students namely, College Level Freeships/ Scholarships and Government Level Freeships/ Scholarships. Every scholarship which is being offered to the students of MMP Shah College Matunga have different eligibility criteria and the students who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for and avail the scholarship.

Scholarships/ Freeships at MMP Shah College Matunga

There are two types of assistance which are provided to the students of Smt. Maniben MP Shah Women’s College of Arts and Commerce, Matunga.

• College- Level Freeships/ Scholarships. 

• Government- Level Freeships/ Scholarships. 

The students and the college have to follow a Standard Operating Procedure for Grant of Freeships and Scholarships. 

Procedure to avail College Level Freeships/ Scholarships

• Eligible Students are required to fill up the Freeship and Scholarship form of the MMP Shah College Matunga together with required documents.

• After verification and approval of the forms and along with teacher’s recommendation, the freeship/ scholarship amounts are transferred via RTGS to the respective bank accounts of the students.

Procedure to avail Government Level Freeships/ Scholarships

• Students are required to fill up the forms through online mode from the Government’s website with the help of designated non- teaching staff members. 

• The requisite documents are required to be uploaded on the Government’s website.

In case of Offline forms, the hard copies have to be submitted to the Government agencies.

Documents Required for Freeships/ Scholarships 

The students who want to avail the scholarships or freeships have to submit the following self- attested documents along with the application form. 

• Marksheet of Last Examination Passed (Semester wise).

• College Identity Card. 

• Caste Certificate for the students who belong to Reserved Category. 

• Fee Receipt of Current Term. 

• One Cancelled Cheque or First page of the Passbook, having the candidate's name. 

• House Electricity Bill for the past 3 Months. 

• Photocopy of Ration Card. 

The candidates may be asked to present some additional documents as per the requirement of the college. Quest Foundation has granted Freeships and Scholarships to the students of Smt. Maniben MP Shah Women’s College of Arts and Commerce, Matunga worth rupees lakhs.
