Smt. R.D. Shah Arts and Smt. V.D. Shah Commerce College, Ahmedabad, was started in the year 1963, and this co-educational institution is located in Dholka, Gujarat. This affiliated college offers three undergraduate programs across arts and commerce streams. The campus covers an area of 4.1 acres and has a student enrolment of 1,308, with a faculty strength of 8. The institute offers a wide variety in specializations for the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Commerce, including specializations such as B.Com in Advanced Accounting and Auditing (Hons.). With its long historical background and focused academic offerings, the college sets out to serve regional educational needs.

They can also participate in various sports activities like wrestling, weightlifting, gymnastics, swimming, judo, and indoor sports like kabaddi and volleyball. Departmental laboratories and faculty, staff, and student parking facilities are also maintained in the college.

It offers a total of three full-time undergraduate courses. These categories include BA, B.Com, and a specialized program in Bachelor of Commerce in Advanced Accounting and Auditing, Hons. All programs are full-time; the BA and B.Com are three-year while that of B.Com, Hons, is four years.
