Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, has conducted Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for major admissions in Smt. Shantabai Patil Institute of Diploma in Pharmacy. This would ensure a fair and transparent choice of candidates both for D.Pharma as well as B.Pharma.
The candidate must appear for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, popularly known as MHT CET, to gain admission into the institute. MHT CET is conducted every year in the month of April. This year it will be held on 8 April 2025. The test is held online mode and scores are considered while giving admission into pharmacy programs.
The minimum eligibility criterion for entry into the D.Pharma and B.Pharma programmes includes passing the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Degree-wise Admission Process
D.Pharma: Smt. Shantabai Patil Institute of Diploma in Pharmacy: An approved intake of 60 seats is available for the D.Pharma course here. Admission to this course is through CAP of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The candidate needs to qualify in the MHT CET exam and needs to undergo the CAP counselling process. The total fee for the D.Pharma course is Rs. 172,000.
B. Pharm: Admission intake is sanctioned at 60 seats. Admission to D. Pharma is made through the CAP round. Eligibility is qualifying MHT CET exam followed by counseling. Admission procedure and eligibility criteria are exactly the same as in the case of D. Pharma programme. Admission to the D. Pharma programme is done based on performance in relevant courses.
My college had all the necessary facilities and infrastructure. The classrooms here were well furnished. Faculties were very supportive. It was overall a great learning experience. Teaching here was amazing.
