BCA is a three year UG program offered by different government and private colleges. The course offers a varied knowledge in the field of Software Programming, IT, Data Management etc. The course is quite good for those who want to be in IT companies and don't want to go for Engineering fields like CSE. The course gives enough opportunity to the student both academically and industrially. It is always recommended that a student should complete a MCA after BCA in order to have a progressive career ahead.
The fees differ from college to college. If you go for the government colleges then the fees will be low and for private colleges it is relatively high.
The average fees for the course is in the range of Rs. 70K to 2Lac depending on the institution you want to take admission in.
The eligibility criteria of the course is that the candidate must complete the 10+2 with at least 50% marks in any of the streams under recognized board/University.
