Smt. Sushiladevi Deshmukh Senior College, Latur was established in the year 1991 and is a constituent college affiliated to Shivaji University, the college is the first away from the headquarters but still situated within the state of Maharashtra. The total area over which the institution spreads is 6.08 acres and is accredited by NAAC. Currently, it has a total strength of 131 students and a faculty strength of 16 members. It plans to extend a BA course toward quality education in the humanities field. The college, being consistently concerned with the all-round development and excellence in its academic endeavours, aims to better enable students who are at the same time suitably prepared to face the future challenges in their respective fields.
