Katol, Nagpur, Maharashtra base college, Sonatai Pandav Polytechnic, was established in the year 2009. The institute is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and it provides diploma courses in engineering disciplines. Located on a 6.32 acres, the polytechnic acquires a student strength of 235 and 29 faculty members. The institute runs 5 diploma courses offering technical education & training in areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Telecommunication & Computer Engineering. 

Sonatai Pandav Polytechnic college aims at delivering quality education and it has provided several amenities to enhance learn institution of higher learning. The institute library is a prime resource with a book collection of more than ten thousand books of different disciplines. It has a reading hall, a seminar hall meeting, and a book bank facility. Apart from the educational buildings, Sonatai Pandav Polytechnic pays considerable attention to the technological ones. The technical facility of the entire institute also has facilities such as a computer centre with numerous latest P4 computers. The computer centre itself is open for the students free of cost and helps in developing the spirit of learning as well as imprinting technological literacy among the learners. 

Sonatai Pandav Polytechnic provides 5 diploma courses, in which all the courses are under full time. The institute has total of 270 intake across all its courses as approved by the university. It takes three years to complete each of the diploma programmes and these programmes afford the learners intensive knowledge and skills in their areas of specialisation.
