The Sou Venutai Chavan Polytechnic, Pune was established in the year 1993. The institute is recognised by the Government of Maharashtra. The SVCP was approved by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SVCP Pune offers diploma courses in various engineering disciplines. Interested candidates need to check the SCVP eligibility criteria before applying for the diploma course.     

SVCP is affiliated with the College of Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai.  The admissions to Diploma courses at SVCP will be based on the previous year academic performance of the previous year.  SVCP Pune follows the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) as per the schedule set by DTE Maharashtra. The SVCP Pune boasts an on-campus training and placement cell that manages all placement activities.
