Located in Sector 20, Purkhas Road, near Sugar Mill in Sonipat, Haryana, South Point College of Education, Sonipat was founded in the year 2006. South Point College of Education offers all Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma courses with regard to education. At the undergraduate level, the institute conducts four regular courses: B.Ed, M.Ed, D.Ed, and B.P.Ed. All these programs are oriented toward empowering students to discharge their duties either as successful teachers or as educational administrators.

The admission process of South Point College of Education is based on the principles of being merit-based and transparent. The basis for admission to B.Ed shall be the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the policy of the State Government, UT Administration, and the University. The admission process to the M.Ed course, too, shall be based on the marks in the qualifying examination and entrance test in accordance with the policies of the State Government, Central Government, University, or UT Administration. D.Ed programme: Admission shall be based on merit of the candidate, taking into account the marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination result. Whereas the written test, fitness test, interview, and qualifying examination percentage with regard to the B.P.Ed course are more comprehensive. This multifaceted approach ensures that the most suitable candidates are selected for each program.
