The SPIRITS Teacher Training College, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, was started in the year 2012. This affiliated college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education; hence, it believes in quality teacher education. The area of the institute includes a compact 2 acres of land with a focused learning environment for aspiring educators. Presently, with 16 students enrolled and a faculty strength of 8, SPIRITS Teacher Training College assures personalised attention to its students

SPIRITS Teacher Training College is currently offering one full-time course: the Diploma in Elementary Education  D.El.Ed This two-year programme is designed to prepare students for a career in elementary education, having an approved intake of 50 seats. The aim is to equip the learner with knowledge and skills to function as effective primary school teachers, whereby pedagogic techniques and child psychology are focused, along with the curriculum development. 

The admission process at SPIRITS Teacher Training College is based on merit, aligning with the policies set by the state government. The assessment is made of the qualification or the performance in the higher secondary examination (10+2) or its equivalent. In some cases, an entrance examination or any other process of admission procedure may also be adopted in accordance with state regulations.
