SR College of Education, Meerut Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Library is always a valuable asset to the students and hence the Institute has a great collection of books and periodicals covering the entire spectrum of B.Ed. Besides books on B.Ed. the library also boasts access to several National and International journals. The Library has acquired a large collection of books, journals, CDs, etc. There are over 2300 titles and over 9752 volumes in the B.Ed. section with the latest editions of Indian as well as foreign publications. We are also going digital with the new session as the institute has been admitted as an institutional member of DELNET.

The college has a well-furnished Home Science Lab. In the lab all equipment like Kadhai, Gas Chulha, Bhagona, Dinner Set, Tea Set, and all other facilities for the Girls B.Ed. Students are available as per NCTE norms.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility with a variety of options like food and beverages, according to the various tastes & budgets of students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college provides information technology in today`s corporate environment, the institute has developed its own computer lab equipped with modern computers, Besides the students also have free access to the institute`s Computer center. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and 19 computers are available in the computer lab. In the lab, Overhead Projector, DVD Writer, CD Writer, Colour TV, DVD Player, LCD Projector, Digital Camera, Audio Visual Aids, Educational CD, and all other equipment are available for the B.Ed. students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college encourages the students to inculcate health awareness in them and provides facilities for indoor games. The institute has playgrounds for cricket, Badminton, Kabaddi, and Volleyball. Besides a ground for athletics, events are also available.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
