The SR College of Teacher Education Orai�� was set up in the year 2015, is one of the most popular teacher training college situated in district-Jalaun of Uttar Pradesh. This co-educational college affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) provides specialized programmes in education. Located in a small piece of land of 0.75 acres, the college is aimed to transform young people into professional teachers. SR College of Teacher Education has a faculty strength of 30 members who are fully experienced to help the young teachers who come to this college for acquiring knowledge in the area of education. SR College of Teacher Education has two courses of teacher education which are full time in nature and address the different tiers in the system. The major programs that form the basic working platform of the institution are the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED.) programme. They both take two years to complete and their aim and objective is to prepare the student for a teaching practice career. For each of these programs the intake capacity is 100 seats, which cumulatively make up the 200 seats between these two courses. This approach makes it possible for the college to achieve and maintain a reasonable student/faculty ratio, thereby providing quality and personized education to the clientele. 

The admission in the SR College of Teacher Education are taken on the basis of Common Entrance Test conducted by University or State Government.
