SR Kanthi College of Education is an ICSE recognised teacher training institute founded in 1986 in the Ilkal district of Karnataka. This is a co-educational college and got recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which provides quality education to teachers. Located in a vast area of 35 acres of land, the college has been successfully accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which proves its concern about the educational quality of the institution. Even though the college now has only one degree programme, it is a long and intensive study of this particular branch.
