Sree Mahadeva College, Kottayam, the affiliate of the University of Kottayam started in 2014 is located at the beautiful town of Vaikom – Kottayam of Kerala. They were founded in 1992 and because of that, they are considered as one of the young institutions in the region but they have come out strongly in the educational map. Located in a restricted 2.35 hectare plot area, UICC belongs to a group of colleges which provide a considerable numbers of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. In terms of total student population with a strength of 194 and the faculty of 18 members, which propounds that Sree Mahadeva College offers a right synonym for getting individualized education along with an opportunity for overall growth.

Looking at the physical installations they provide the students with a pool of amenities that are ideal for improving on the students’ college experience. These programmes are usually fashioned to meet the needs of students in relation to academic major and occupational goals. Although the college offers education to a total of 194 students at a given intake, the individual seat- sharing ratio by course is unknown. All the courses offered are full time therefore students gain practical experiences within the sectors they have taken a course in.
