Sree Narayana College, Chathannur was inaugurated in 1981 and situated in Chirakkara, Kerala. This affiliated college located in a 25 acre area of land comprises number of faculty that provides undergraduate and post graduate course. Currently, the college is offering education to 679 students and employs a teaching staff of 31; thus has a favorable student-teacher ratio. Nationally, the institution boasts of its membership in the National Association of Academic Chiefs engaging in Quality Assurance and Accreditation-NAAC, an indication to the institution’s bedrock on quality education provision. These include four undergraduate programmes: As undergraduate programmes, the college offers BA History, B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Industrial Chemistry, and B.Com Taxation Law and Practice, while at postgraduate level the college offers three programmes, including M.Sc Mathematics, M.Sc Chemistry and M.Com. All courses are full-time, giving students the opportunity to receive a complete preparation for work in a chosen industry. The academic programmes provided in the college reflect the specific interests and possible employment opportunities for students as they can anticipate future difficulties in their fields of choice.
