Sree Narayana College, Chathannur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. A well-established women’s hostel with an amazing ambiance is functioning on the college campus to accommodate girls coming from non-commutable far-off places within the district or outside. The hostel building and academic building are situated within a radius of 100 meters. The necessary facilities like a spacious dining hall and a well–equipped recreational area and outdoor game facilities were set in the area. There are guest rooms for visitors, faculty, and students. Anti-ragging measures were adopted and a well-structured mechanism has been put in place to monitor ragging-related issues. 

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a centralized library with a sufficient number of textbooks and reference books is an asset to our college. Students and teachers avail of the library facility to improve their knowledge level. Every year new titles are added to the stack, as per the demands and availability of funds. In addition to this, research journals are also available which are useful for postgraduate students and researchers.

The college has a well-maintained playground available on the campus and organizes events like football, cricket, and tournaments like kabaddi. Besides this, a volleyball court and one badminton court are also available.

The College computers have a vital role in the current educational system and research. We are providing computer labs for students to enhance their practical skills and support facilities. With the aid of the management fund, we renovated the lab on 29.07.2019 at a cost of Rs. 3,87,778/-. Now there are 23 computers working, and Windows and Ubuntu are installed in all the systems. Students are doing Statistics problems in Microsoft Excel and Programmes in Python Language 

The college has an auditorium facility for all the events and seminars.

The college has a transport facility for all the students and staff.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The College is having well-equipped laboratories. To enhance the communication skills of the students, the students are provided with a well-equipped Language Lab with ten booths.

One canteen with a seating capacity of 20 students is available for the staff and students.
