Sree Narayna Guru College of Commerce was started in the year 1986 and is a renowned institute in Chembur Mumbai. This college for boys and girls is located in Mumbai affiliated with the University of Mumbai and offers many courses in Commerce and related streams from the undergraduation and postgraduation level. It is accredited and recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and for 37 years of its establishment the college has maintained high standard of education. It is spread across a 6.5 acres area and has 1,561 students attending there and 22 numbers of faculty members are present there. The college currently has thirteen programmes across five degree categories that include Business, Management, and Media studies. 

Sree Narayana Guru College of Commerce has vowed to make sure that the students attain all round conductivity and therefore provides several facilities that will allow them to learn effectively. Students’ sporting needs are meet through the availability of a modern turf ground, as well as standard basketball, and volleyball facility. For educational use, the college has a resourceful library stocked with a range of reference books, magazines and journals. Using the N-List, the library is also serviced by e-resources and has computer terminals that enable interne connectivity. Technology amenities are available at the college with two computer laboratories containing 134 up to date computers for practical sessions and project and research uses. Besides, the college consists of an air conditioned seminar hall which can accommodate 250 people and can be used for different academic and cultural activities. 

Sree Narayana Guru College of Commerce has in its portfolio a wide range of courses, which may meet various student’s needs and expectations. It offers thirteen full time programmes with undergraduate as well as post raduate programmes on offer. Undergraduate courses available include B.Com in Transport Management, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Financial Management, Investment Management and Environmental Management. College also has courses in BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), Bachelor of Mass Media, B.Sc Information Technology. At postgraduate level, M.Com. courses offered by the college are Accountancy, Banking and Finance and Business Management. These course are intended to prepare students for more knowledge and skills needed in today’s dynamic business environment.

With reference to the University of Mumbai rules and regulation the management of Sree Narayana Guru College of Commerce has certain admission policies and procedure. The college uses the entrance examination results as one of the admission requirements.
