Sree Narayana Guru Polytechnic College (SNGPC), was established in the year of 1984 and recognised as one of the reputable technical polytechnic college in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college for offering variety of diploma in engineering disciplines approved by All India Council for Technical Education. SNGPC is a large college spread cross a 15.73 acre of land and enrolment capacity of    800 students with total faculty strength of 59. The college offers seven diploma courses with specialisations illustrating the college’s commitment to diverse technical education.

As a result, SNGPC boasts of providing all round student facilities to maximise the learning process of its students. The college comprises of two hall each for the, boys and girls respectively and these are aimed at providing a home away from home with appropriate environment for learning. Both these hostels accommodate 206 guests and offer Vehicle facility services, Entertainment services by having TV and DTH facility, Indoor game Facility services. For information access and learning, the college has a library as the knowledge centre; the college has put up an information technology infrastructure of 250 plus computer systems and hardware for servicing the labs. To guarantee the continuity of power supply, the campus has a 63 KVA generator to supplement the problem-torne electricity supply system. Transport facilities are also provided by the SNGPC through transport facilities with bus facilities for the students and staff traveling to different parts of Coimbatore and other neighboring places.

It conducts total of seven diploma courses of full time education, for which the duration will be three years. These courses are tailored to fit all the branches of engineering making it easier for students to choose their specialty from a rangeof choices. The college has a total approved strength of 450 students for all the courses offered by the college, which shows the institution’s ability to train large number of young engineers each year.
