Sree Narayana Law College, Poothotta, is a premier college in Ernakulam that offering opportunities in law started its functioning in the year 2012. One of the affiliated colleges in India it is recognised by the Bar Council of India and providing various law courses at its 5 acre campus. The college has the capacity of 735 students and 46 members of the faculty for effective learning in legal education. The institute teaches six courses covering five degree programmes with concentration on diverse areas of law. The school has the advantage of being co-educational and as such the atmosphere created promotes a real life scenario in the practice of law.

Sree Narayana Law College provides a variety of facilities for effective learning and for growth of an individual. The library of more than 6000 academic books all of which have RFID enabled doors and the computers have internet access to give the students a wide selection of books online journal to read from. The IT infrastructure entails a large computerised lab and high broad bandwidth to provide students with different forms of intellectual materials. The moot court system in the college has been working since its formation and is helpful in the students sharpening their brains and their analytical skills for real legal practice. For physical well-being, sports facilities are open for all students of the college. It also provides a hostel for female students the facilities of which are being monitored by a warden.

SNLC follows a full-time model to its course offerings, and it offers a complete catalogue of law courses. The college provides three 5-year integrated programmes, the three courses are offered – BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), and B.Com LLB (Hons) where the intake each course is 60. In addition, it has a three-year LLB course with 120 admissions, and two two-year LLM programmes on Criminal Law and Commercial Law. Total approved intake for the undergraduate programmes is 300 students, in order to provide quality legal education to the students.
