Sree Nataraja School of Nursing, started its operations in the year 2004, is a private institution functioning independently in Mysuru, Karnataka. This is a co-educational nursing institution whose main focus is to offer programmes for and prepare nursing majors for the job market. The school occupies a small area of 2 acres and has 68 enrolled learners to assure a personalised setting in its learning atmosphere. The faculty strength stands at 4 and out of a total student strength, the institute has managed to provide quality education while keeping the student faculty ratio in reasonable limits. There is only one specialisation course available at the school which is related to nursing, an important area of practice in this field.

Sree Nataraja School of Nursing offers various facilities meant to facilitate learning among learners. In the middle of these is a sizeable library which has a collection of more than two thousand five hundred volumes of different nursing related topics, periodicals as well as latest nursing magazines and journals. Also there are specimen Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, etc. so that the students are able to practice what they learned alongside the theory. For the overall development of the student, the institute has facilities for sports and an auditorium for arranging programmes and seminars. Canteen prepares foods to feed the staff and students and a health centre with first aid facilities meet the basic health needs of the people. The school also has hostels for both male and female students in order to allow the students from other provinces to be of school without any having to worry about where to live.

Sree Nataraja School of Nursing offers one primary course, the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme. This course is packaged in a full-time basis and it takes four years to offer it, and it moulds students for nursing and midwifery careers. This institute has an approved number of 60 intakes for this programme was given which shows that this institute is more specific to its provision of nursing education. This focused service provision makes it possible for the school to direct all its efforts and resources to the task of providing quality learning in this branch of health study.
