Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College Pollachi offers admissions to a total of 38 courses in full-time and part-time mode. STC UG Pollachi admissions are offered for B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA and BBA courses. STC Pollachi  PG admissions are offered for M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW, MCA and MBA courses. At the doctoral level, STC Pollachi Ph.D admissions are offered in 8 different specialisations. Candidates applying to the courses are required to fulfill STC Pollachi eligibility criteria.

The candidates applying to the courses need to fill up the application form in online mode by following certain steps mentioned below:

• Candidates are required to account on the official website of the college by registering themselves.

Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College Pollachi offers admission to undergraduate courses in full-time mode. STC Pollachi UG Admissions are offered for the duration of 3 years. The candidates applying for undergraduate admission must fulfill STC Pollachi UG eligibility criteria.

STC Pollachi UG Admission Process

• Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate course are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course. 

• The eligible candidates need to fill up the application form in online mode.

• Candidates are selected on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.

• The communal reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu will be strictly followed.

• The selected candidates are informed by post for the interview process. 

• The selected candidates should appear for an interview along with their Parent/guardian and also bring the following original certificates.

Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College Pollachi offers admission to postgraduate courses in full-time mode. STC Pollachi PG Admissions are offered for the duration of 2 years. The candidates applying for postgraduate admission must fulfil STC Pollachi PG eligibility criteria.

STC Pollachi PG Admissions Process

• Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate course are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course. 

• The eligible candidates need to fill up the application form in online mode.

• Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.

• The college follows a reservation policy prescribed by the government of Tamil Nadu.

• The selected candidates are informed by post for the interview process. 

• The selected candidates should appear for an interview along with their Parent/guardian and also bring the following original certificates.

• The final admission is done after verification of the documents.

• The candidates can confirm their admission after fee payment.

STC Pollachi MBA/MCA Admission Process

• Candidates seeking admission to  MBA/MCA courses must meet eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.

• The  MBA/MCA admission is done on the basis of the TANCET entrance examination, conducted by Anna University. 

• Candidates can fill up the TANCET application form by registering themselves on the official website and uploading the certificate for the counselling process.

• After that verification of documents is done at GCT (Government Collge of Technology)

• Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in TANCET and rank list of the applicants is prepared.

• The shortlisted candidates should attend the counselling session with all the required documents.

• The admission process for the MBA/MCA is complete after documents are verified and fee payment is done.

STC Pollachi Doctoral Admissions 2024

Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College Pollachi doctoral admissions are done for Ph.D courses in six specialisations. STC Pollachi Ph.D admissions are offered for full-time and part-time courses. STC Pollachi Ph.D admissions are based on the candidate's performance in the entrance examination.

STC Pollachi M.Phil/Ph.D Admission Process 

• STC Pollachi Ph.D admissions are done as per the regulations of Bharathiar University in two stages - an entrance test, called the Common Eligibility Test (CET), and an interview. 

• The entrance tests are conducted in June/July every year at different centres 

• The candidates having Master's degrees are eligible to appear for CET. 

• The candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / SET / GATE and other equivalent examinations are exempted from CET. 

• Candidates who qualify the entrance examination are called for the interview process. 

• Candidates are shortlisted for interview, based on the scrutiny of the application forms.

• The final selection for STC Pollachi M.Phil and Ph.D course is done on the basis of the score of the entrance examination, interview and merit of the qualifying examination. 

• Selection of the candidates depends on the availability of vacancies with the research supervisors in the University departments/research centres of the affiliated colleges.
