Sree Vaikundar Polytechnic is a subsidiary organization associated with the college which was established in the year 2010. The college is located at Kanyakumari, the Southern most end of Tamil Nadu. Diploma ProgramsThe institute has been acknowledged and approved by AICTE for the diploma programs. Sree Vaikundar Polytechnic is situated in a campus spread over 6.97 acres. Total enrolment of students in the institute is 317 with a faculty strength of 41. The institute conducts four diploma courses which are all fulltime programmes in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Electronics and Communication Engineering. 

Sree Vaikundar Polytechnic provides many facilities for improving teaching/learning process within and outside its class rooms. Well-equipped laboratories are designed for departments, with the main emphasis on practical hands-on work. A well-stocked library houses many books on different branches of engineering, humanities, and science, as well as national and international technical magazines. The institute's IT infrastructure caters to modern ways of learning, and sports facilities support physical fitness as well as teamwork. The polytechnic provides both boys' and girls' hostels for students requiring accommodation. Other amenities include a canteen offering good quality food at reasonable prices. A health centre is also available with first aid facilities for the benefit of students. The institute also employs buses plying the route for easy commuting of day scholars from Nagercoil and surrounding areas.

All in all, Sree Vaikundar Polytechnic offers four diploma courses, which are full-time courses. The Institute has a collective approved intake of 300 students across all courses. 

At Sree Vaikundar Polytechnic, admissions are made on merit, and candidates are selected with the marks obtained by them in their corresponding qualifying examinations.
