Situated in Trichy, Sri Adhisankarar College of Education was established in the year 2009. It is a landmark example of excellence in educational institutions in Tamil Nadu, India. Situated based on the National Highway in Erangalur near Ramarkoil, this affiliated college has produced thousands of aspirants from all over the world who are now considered teachers. The institute is reputed by the National Council for Teacher Education or NCTE. Sri Adhisankarar College of Education has a rich array of facilities aimed at widening the training and scholarship horizon of students. The institution boasts of advanced laboratories for Biological Science, Physical Science, Computer Science, Language and Psychology and all these are periodically updated to conform with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University syllabus. Sri Adhisankarar College of Education currently operates only one full-time course: B.Ed. It is a two-year B.Ed course with sanctioned intake capacity of 100 students, which leads to excellent student-teacher ratio of the institute. The college caters to a total enrollment of 50 and a faculty strength of 15, which provides individual attention to all students coupled with quality education.
