D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The Sri Adhisankarar Teacher Training Institute offers D.El.Ed, an undergraduate-level, two-year diploma-level course in elementary education. This is a two-year full-time course for equipping the students with skills and knowledge required to make effective teaching at the elementary school level. The institute has an approved intake of 50 students in this programme. Admission to the D.El.Ed programme is merit-based, following the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the policy of the state government.
