Sri Belimatha Mahasamsthana Institute of Technology was established in the year 1975 at Nelamangala, Bangalore, Karnataka. It is a co-educational engineering institution and was established and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education. The institution has groomed the future engineers of the coming generation almost for five decades now. The institute is located along the NH4 Bypass and offers an ideal environment for understanding and all-round development. The institute provides quality education in various engineering disciplines through a strength of 28 dedicated professionals.

Different facilities developed at SBMSIT have added to the learning experience and holistic development of students on campus. Both boys and girls hostels are present on campus and provide a pleasant stay for outstation students. A well-equipped library imparts knowledge along with the state-of-the-art I.T infrastructure equipping students with the best of technological innovation along with infrastructural facilities. The institute has a general list of engineering programs that are all fully in nature. SBMSIT currently offers four different B.Tech programs, all of which take four years to complete. There is the B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, and Mechanical Engineering programs.
