Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to a reserved category) in the above subjects. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

70% of seats are filled through the common entrance test (EAMCET) Conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh
30% of seats are filled Under Management Quota, Seats are filled based on a minimum of 60% marks attained in the Intermediate Examination OR based on the EAMCET rank of the Candidate.
As per Government of Andhra Pradesh norms, decided by AP Government Year to Year. The Government of Andhra Pradesh fixed the minimum cut-off marks depending upon the number of candidates qualified.

College Infrastructure

Yes, the college has the necessary infrastructure. It is very hygienic and it has a lot facilities like libraries, sports centers etc. The hostels are also very good, they have many facilities within the indoor and outdoor games, Music class room. Everything is well maintained.
