Dear Sajal, you can get admission in St. Xavier's undergraduate course in Arts and Humanities based on your +2 qualification. You are also eligible for the the BMM entrance examination. There is a minimum percentage of marks that you need to score in your +2, to be eligible. I would suggest you to visit their website for more information.

First of all you should try to improve your General Knowledge, read the newspaper everyday. Don't just rely on the current affairs modules available in markets, try to develop a habit of reading the newspaper. As English Language skills is also a part of the syllabus you should go through the Editorial section of the newspaper for improving your vocabulary. As far as critical and creative thinking is concerned, you need to think on the spot for that as you cannot predict the questions in this section. You should go through the sample papers and previous year papers to know rhe type of questions asked previously. You should know how to present your answer logically.

Yes, you can get admission in 2019 even if you have passed your +2 in 2018 and on basis of marks in that. Some universities may ask for a gap certificate. However, if you are applying at a place where entrance exams have to be given for this course, then the entrance exam has to be in 2019 itself.
