One of the prestigious women's colleges in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala started functioning in the year 1983. This affiliated college has accreditation spread over 8.22 acres from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The institution, with its total student enrolment at 2,820, holds a faculty strength of 77 and offers courses in 6 different degree programmes. 

The college also has numerous modern facilities to support better learning and all-round development of students. Laboratories are well furnished with adequate facility in physics, chemistry, bio-chemistry, botany, zoology, microbiology, food technology, mathematics, statistics, electronics, and computer science. The college also offers, under the section of Commerce and Management, B.Com with Computer Applications, Banking, and general Commerce, and BBA with Business Process Management and Business Analytics.
