Sri G. Pulla Reddy Government Polytechnic institutionalised in 2008 is one of the prominent technical colleges within the region of Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh. AICTE approved affiliated college, this institute was established offering quality education at its vast 9.04 acre territory. Following the total student intake of 252 and faculty strength of 18, the institute facilitates focused attention and the delivery of quality education. The polytechnic currently offers 3 diploma programmes that are Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and Biomedical Engineering to meet a growing need for technicians in the two fields.

These two courses take 3 years of students’ time and offer detailed theoretical and practical understanding of the chosen disciplines. The Diploma in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering etc. has an intake capacity of 40 and Diploma in Biomedical Engineering has 30 seats. These programmes are intended to fulfill existing industry need for technicians in these continuously emerging fields.
