Sri Gandhi Mahavidyalaya, Sitapur, was established in 1981 and is an affiliated college at Shidhauli, Sitapur, of Uttar Pradesh. It has been more than forty years since this institution has been providing educational services to this region. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to cater the need for standard Teacher Education. Spread over a large area of 16 acres, Sri Gandhi Mahavidyalaya is offering different courses in various disciplines It has 2799 students and 21 faculty members. The college offers 8 subject courses under four degree programmes to address the concerns of diversified education and employment opportunity. 

This institution has made available the following facilities to enable students get the ’feel’ of what they are taught. The college has well-contained laboratories arranged for carrying out practical sessions, which include various subjects.
